This October I will be participating in a powerful event- The Avon Breast Cancer 3 Day walk. I will be walking 60 miles in three days, from Bear Mountain to Manhattan, to raise money to improve access to care and find a cure for breast cancer.

This year, according to the American Cancer Society, over 182,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Over 40,000 will die. One million women in America are living with undetected breast cancer. That's why I'm walking so far- to do something bold about breast cancer.
